STAR is the official riding organization for Yamaha's Star line of cruisers but we welcome all brands. Unlike some groups we encourage riders of other makes to ride with us. We enjoy the diversity! We are family-oriented and meet and ride monthly. Rides are generally on the weekend following the meeting, sometimes on Saturday or Sunday - or both! A few times a year we'll take a road trip to a national or regional rally, or just to get away for a long weekend.
Our rides stress camaraderie and safety. New riders are welcome - we will coach you on safe group riding techniques and never compel you to ride beyond your comfort level. We're a back-roads group, avoiding the interstate "slab" when we can. Ladies represent about half of our riders.
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, 7:00 PM at The Beach House, 4040-E Cox Rd., Glen Allen, VA 23060. The Beach House is located in The Shoppes at Innsbrook. If you can't make it to meetings come out and ride with us anyway. It's not about the meetings.
